Prior to the automated Classic Wizard sites the manual tracking program was known as Siss Zulu. Dedicated enlisted sailors, many with math degrees, used to manually calculate targets the same as Classic Wizard. Those are the true heroes of the highly classified program. I used to work with them at San Miguel, San Antonio, Philippines in the mid 1970’s.
