In the spirit of celebrating the Navy250, Rear Adm. Mike Brookes, COMONI, joined Capt. Devron Eakins, commanding officer of ONI’s Farragut Technical Analysis Center, at the National Museum of the U.S. Navy for a tour of several Navy artifacts including Adm. David G. Farragut’s sword.

Famous for his actions at the Battle of Mobile Bay and the namesake of FTAC, Farragut’s use of technical intelligence gave him the advantage and led to a decisive victory. Today, FTAC continues that legacy by providing scientific and technical intelligence to America’s Navy and national decision makers alike.
