LTJG Dacorion Yerger-Turner is a Dallas , TX native that commissioned in 2021 from the Illustrious Tuskegee University ROTC program. Tuskegee University is one of the top Historically Black Cultural University’s (HBCU) in the entire country.

At Tuskegee, he received his bachelors in Computer Information Systems. His first two years in the Navy he was a SWO onboard the USS STETHEM (DDG 63) based out of San Diego. He served as the ships ELECTRO and ACE completing a 10 month deployment in 2023 during the Houthis crisis in the 5th Fleet AOR. As a Surface Warfare Officer, he endured many hardships and made lifelong friendships. He decided it would be best to get into the Information Warfare Community in order to put his degree to use leading him to transfer to the Cryptologic Warfare Officer  community where he will be serving at CWMA-61 in Fort Meade.
