NCDOC’s TRIDENT Training Center Opens

Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) held a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 9, supported by Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) and Naval Network Warfare Command (NNWC) leaders to officially open TRIDENT – Technical Readiness in Defensive Cyber Operations {DCO} Education and Network Training – Center for NCDOC and NNWC personnel.

United States Cyber Command Established, May 21, 2010

United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), the nation’s unified combatant command for the cyberspace domain, turned ten years old in 2020. Headquartered with the National Security Agency at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, USCYBERCOM is a military command that operates globally in real time against determined and capable adversaries.

US prepares for long war with China that might hit its bases, homeland: Peter Apps

LONDON, May 16 (Reuters) – Earlier this month, U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Doug Wickert summoned nearby civic leaders to Edwards Air Force Base in California to warn them that if China attacks Taiwan in the coming years, they should be prepared for their immediate region to suffer potentially massive disruption from the very start.

Remembering USS Stark – Red Sky in Morning: Naval Combat at the Dawn of Hypersonics

USS Stark steams quietly near Bahrain on May 17, 1987. The Tanker Wars between Iran and Iraq are ongoing, and the United States is trying to keep commerce flowing in the Persian Gulf. Unbeknownst to the crew, it is the final hour of life for 37 sailors onboard the Stark.

SR-72 Darkstar Has a Clear Message for China or Russia’s Military

The US plans to fly the SR-72 Darkstar very soon, and this should be another feather in Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works’ cap. The much-anticipated aircraft, which supposedly will travel at Mach 5+ (nearly 4,000 mph), will rewrite the book on stealth and speed among aircraft.
