There are major changes coming to the Cryptologic Officer and Information Warfare Officer PQS Programs for the Cryptologic Units (NIOC, FCC/C10F, CWGs, etc.) coming.
On January 17, 2012, LT Thomas Coleman Fouke, Jr., 28 years old, died suddenly during a naval training exercise at the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Va. LT Fouke was an Information Warfare Officer (1810) assigned to an East Coast SEAL unit. He earned his commission in May 2006 after graduating from the University of Florida.
The United States Naval Academy will name its new cyber building after RADM Grace Hopper.
