Today, Captain Aaron Littlejohn was properly relieved as Commanding Officer, Cyber Defense Activity SIXTY FOUR. Captain Littlejohn’s biography follows:

Commanding Officer, Cyber Defense Activity SIXTY FOUR
CAPT Littlejohn attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. In 2000, he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and received his commission via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. He is the Commanding Officer of Cyber Defense Activity SIXTY FOUR (CDA-64).
His operational and sea tours include division officer, USS MEMPHIS (SSN 691); ADP Systems Director, USS BONHOME RICHARD (LHD-6); Communications Officer for a Joint Task Force in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM; Operations Officer, C4I Systems Directorate at Naval Forces Europe/Naval Forces Africa – Commander Sixth Fleet; and Combat Systems Officer, USS DWIGHT D EISENHOWER (CVN-69).
His shore assignments include J86 staff at US Strategic Command, the Naval Postgraduate School, Executive Officer (XO) of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Guam, the U.S. Army War College, and XO of CDA-64. While attending the Naval Postgraduate School, he earned a master’s degree in cyber systems and operations. While attending the U.S. Army War College, he earned a master’s degree in Strategic Studies.
Originally a submarine warfare officer, CAPT Littlejohn was selected for re-designation to the Information Professional community in 2005. He is a member of the Navy’s Information Warfare Community and qualified as an Information Warfare Officer.
