CTO1 John Ball
August 31, 1950 – December 3, 1979
CTO1 John Ball, a communications supervisor and bus driver for the Navy while serving at NSGA Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico was killed by gunfire when terrorists attacked a bus he was driving. RM3 Emil White seated directly behind him was also killed and several other sailors on board the bus were injured.

Mr. Gallons. That you thought of the losses incurred by others is commendable. Do not let yourself become another victim by letting remorse steal your future for something that you had nothing to do with. If you want to honor them then live free and happy so you have what they died defending . For guys like John Ball that would probably be the greatest tribute
