God rest the souls of these valiant men. I was active duty then stationed at an ASW site. The site was in a turmoil trying to locate the sub through intelligence methods. But to no avail. The remorse we all felt was profound. Later in life, I read articles postulating that the Soviets had sunk our sub. Thank you Mario for remembering these brave men who gave their lives for our country.
