These Sailors clearly demonstrated outstanding leadership and technical expertise throughout the year. Their hard work and steadfast initiative are evident and have made a positive impact across the domain. They are certainly deserving of this recognition, as indicated by their accomplishments listed below. BZ and well done!

IS1(IW/SW/AW) Alan Doerter – FID Fallon
As Fleet Intelligence Detachment (FID) Fallon Leading Petty Officer, IS1 Doerter flawlessly managed and coordinated all administrative requirements for 54 worldwide deployable Sailors. As the senior Targeting Intelligence Cell watch supervisor, he expertly managed the Navy’s largest targeting work center resulting in 600 Textual Data Reports, 800 Quality Control sheets, and 1,200 Joint Desired Points of Impact graphics achieving 100% mission success and zero discrepancies. While deployed on board USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74) he obtained eight out-of-rate qualifications and led the Ships Nautical or Otherwise Photographic Interpretation and Examination (SNOOPIE) team through six high-threat transits and the creation of 390 intelligence products. Additionally, he is the Command Career Counselor, Command Educational Services Officer, Command Financial Specialist, ESWS SME, and volunteered 12 hours in the local community.
CTR1(IW/SW) Edward Banks – IWTG Norfolk
As N84 Cryptologic Warfare Leading Petty Officer, CTR1 Banks led eleven Cryptologic shipboard team leads and members through 67 Basic, Integrated, and Advanced phase evolutions totaling 151 days underway. As the N84 Team Lead, he conducted 128 days of training, 32 underway, for 60 Sailors on 12 combatants providing guidance and mentorship throughout the OFRP resulting in the basic phase certification of five Ships Signals Exploitation Space (SSES) teams. He was also instrumental in the first IO operation onboard a SSEE Increment F platform combating small boat attacks using non-kinetic weapons systems. Additionally, he is an Assistant Command Fitness Leader, Fitness Enhancement Program Coordinator, Command Financial Specialist, actively involved in both Sailor 360 and the FCPOA, and volunteered 16 hours in the local community.
