NSGA Whidbey Island was Established, October 1, 1996

The U.S. Naval Security Group Activity Whidbey Island was established on October 1, 1996. On September 30, 2005, NSGA Whidbey Island was administratively closed and was re-established on October 1, 2005 as the Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA.

NIOC Bahrain Established, October 1, 2005

Initially established on October 1, 1998, NSGA Bahrain was administratively closed on September 30, 2005, and was re-established on October 1, 2005 as the Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Bahrain, Manama, Bahrain.
