Today, Captain Patrick A. Count was relieved by Captain Bill Kramer as Commanding Officer, Navy Information Operations Command Georgia.  Captain Kramer’s biography follows:

Captain Bill Kramer, Jr., a native of Halethorpe, Maryland, enlisted in the Navy in 1982 as a Nuclear Trained Machinist’s Mate.  His enlisted tours include serving in USS ENTERPRISE and as an instructor at the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit, Idaho Falls, Idaho.  His commissioning path was through the Navy’s Enlisted Commissioning Program, where he graduated from University of Idaho in 1992 and received his commission as an Ensign.

CAPT Kramer’s first assignment as a Navy Cryptologist was in Naval Security Group Command Misawa, Japan.  His subsequent tours include USS NIMITZ, SSES Division Officer; Naval Communications Telecommunications Station, Diego Garcia, Operations Officer; Naval Security Group Command, Fort Meade, Program Analyst; Navy Personnel Command, Enlisted Community Manager; Multi-National Forces-West, Fallujah, Iraq, IO Officer; Navy Information Operations Command, Georgia, Operations Officer; Navy Information Operations Command Sugar Grove, WV, Commanding Officer; Fleet Cyber Command/Commander TENTH Fleet, N39; and Navy Personnel Command, Senior Cryptologic Warfare Officer Detailer.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from Air War College, and various decorations and awards including six awards of the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, two awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Iraq Service Medal with Eagle, Globe and Anchor device for service with I Marine Expeditionary Forces.
