CTR1(IW) Ashlee E. Havens’ biography follows:

CTR1 Havens was born in Kansas City, Kansas and raised in Lakeland, Georgia.  After starting her Senior year at Lanier County High school, she entered into the Navy’s Delayed Entry Program in August 2005. Eleven months later on July 26, 2006, she departed for RTC Great Lakes.

Following Recruit Training she attended AC “A” School at NATTC Pensacola. Shortly after, she transferred to the Chambers Field, at Naval Operations Base Norfolk, Virginia, where she served from July 2007 to May 2008. There she became a Base Operations Supervisor and was promoted to Petty Officer Third Class.

After Chambers Field, she transferred to FACSFAC VACAPES and worked as a Flight Data Operator until she was found medically unfit to perform duties as an Air Traffic Controller. In 2009, CTR1 went TAD to NAS Oceana where she led a team of four Sailors in the day to day Quarterdeck Operations. While TAD, CTR1 was selected as NAS Oceana’s Junior Sailor of the Year-2009. Additionally, Petty Officer Havens was advanced to 2nd Class Petty Officer in 2009.

In June 2010, Petty Officer Havens reported to CID Corry Station for CTR “A” School. Briefly after, she reported to NIOC Norfolk and worked as the Team Lead in the Information Operation Intelligence Integration department. While at NIOC Norfolk, she was advanced to Petty Officer First Class and earned the Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist qualification.

CTR1 Havens reported to NIOC Georgia in April 2013 after graduating from Analysis and Reporting “C” school in San Angelo, TX. While at NIOC Georgia, she deployed onboard the USS ARLEIGH BURKE (DDG-51) as the Ship Signals Exploitation Space (SSES) Leading Petty Officer and SSES Supervisor.

Petty officer Havens transferred to CID Corry Station in June 2015 as a Cryptologic Fleet Operator Instructor.  CTR1 Havens’ personal awards include the Navy Achievement Medal (4 awards).
