Honoring CTRCM(IW/SW) Eddy Mejias, CSEL, IWTC Corry Station

CTRCM(IW/SW) Eddy Mejias assumed the duties and responsibilities of Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) of Information Warfare Training Command Corry Station (IWTC CS) on May 4, 2014. He will relinquish CSEL responsibilities next week to CMDCM Joanne Gibson. For over three years, CTRCM Mejias served faithfully the office of Command Master Chief for over 500 staff and 30,000 students. He plans on retiring March 16, 2018 after a very fruitful 30 year career of dedicated service to the United States Navy. He plans on finishing his Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and pursuing a career in ministerial social services in the Pensacola area.  Master Chief Mejias biography follows:

Honoring CNOCM (SW/AW) Carol A. Cooper

Master Chief Cooper was born on August 21, in Ashland, Ohio. She grew up in Louisiana and graduated from high school.  After a year of college she enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

A Study of MAC Address Randomization in Mobile Devices and When it Fails (Guest Post)

Faculty and student researchers, consisting of current and recently graduated US Naval Academy Midshipmen, published the paper “A Study of MAC Address Randomization in Mobile Devices and When it Fails”.  The paper was accepted at the Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS 2017).  Students and faculty presented the research in July to conference attendees.  Three of these students recently completed the Cryptologic Warfare Officer Basic Course in Pensacola, FL. Here is their work.
