The Navy Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture Office (OPNAV N13F) is seeking nominations for linguist of the year (LOY), language professional of the year (LPOY) and command language program of the year.

LOY and LPOY are awards presented to active duty, reserve and civilian members with foreign proficiencies who have distinguished themselves in support of the Navy’s language, regional expertise and culture mission. The CLPOY award recognizes the year’s top command language programs in the Navy.

OPNAV/N13F will provide information on its Navy Personnel Command webpages, its Facebook page, and through email to LREC stakeholders and CLPMs.

Jan. 16 is the deadline to submit nomination packages to OPNAV/N13F.
